We warmly invite you to the workshop “SHAPE – The Driver of European Competitiveness?!” on 16 April 2026 at the Humanities Venture Lab, University of Amsterdam.
Competitiveness is at the heart of Europe’s strategic agenda. But achieving it requires more than technology—it demands understanding of human behaviour, societal change, and governance. That’s where SHAPE disciplines come in.
This workshop cuts to a practical question: How do you get the resources you need to make SHAPE valorisation happen?
Through five short talks in the morning and a hands-on working session in the afternoon, you will leave with:
- Evidence frameworks demonstrating SHAPE’s contribution to competitiveness
- A draft investment case you can use with your VC/Rector/funder
- Connections to impact investors backing SHAPE initiatives
- Practical measurement tools to build into programmes from day one
