Disinformation poses a growing challenge to democratic society. How does it influence our search for truth, decision-making, and social cohesion? And how can science, media, and practice work together to find structural solutions?

During this SSH Expert Meeting, NWO brings together researchers from the social sciences and humanities with societal partners to explore these urgent questions. Drawing on disciplines such as philosophy, history, political science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, communication science, journalism, public administration, law, and education, disinformation is examined in all its dimensions: from its causes and dissemination to its impact and possible interventions.

The program consists of short keynotes, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities.
