Sectorplans SSH 2022

The Social Sciences, Humanities, Law and Economic Sciences, organised within the Social Sciences and Humanities Council (SSH Council), are more than ever looking for cooperation in order to operate more effectively across university and discipline boundaries. After a sector plan for Law, which has been running for three years, there is now a new sector plan ‘From insight to impact’ from the Social Sciences and a new sector plan ‘Tradition in transition’ from the Humanities. In conjunction with these, we are presenting a cross-sector, SSH-wide plan with a thematic focus: ‘Prosperity, participation and citizenship in a digital world’. (note: publication in Dutch)

SSH in Horizon Europe

The development of Horizon Europe, the European Committee’s research and innovation framework, coincides with three challenges facing Europe: climate change, the promotion of inclusive well-being and the creation of a post-Covid 19 society. SSH expertise is vital in dealing with these challenges. In this call for action, the SSH Council of the Netherlands calls for a stronger and more structural involvement of SSH in Horizon Europe.
